HIMSS is Here and We're Feeling Social

Blogging, tweeting, linking, liking-- these buzzwords are becoming a integral part of our business. There's no question that we embrace the opportunity to leverage these channels to connect-with and listen-to the conversations taking place about key issues facing our industry and our clients, but also feel a great responsibilty to engage in the conversation with thoughtful perspective.

Fortunately, HIMSS has arrived. It's the perspective epicenter of our industry and we're eager to start listening and sharing-- as well as blogging, tweeting, linking, and liking. There is already amazing content being created in anticipation of the conference and we expect the next few days will bring more of the same. For our part, we're keeping an eye our for people and conversations that reflect a legitimate understanding of risk and reward of innovation.

H. Stephen Lieber, the president and CEO if HIMSS for more than a decade, posted about the Top Five Things to Watch at the HIMSS12 Conference and among them are the trending conversations around meaningful use and the reinvestment in systems to ensure patient outcomes. We'll be following these conversations closely, as well as those surrounding CPOE, and sharing our perspective whereever relevant-- both here on the blog and on Twitter @vedanthealth and @s_almeda. If you're engaged in these conversations or have questions for us about what we think, tweet at us. Use hashtag #HIMSS12 to officially join the online exchange.

We're excited about this new, more social chapter, and what it means for TestStream, our clients, and our industry. The more we interact with others, whether here or on the ground, the better we understand how to best serve our clients. So let's start talking.
